Help with QuickTime VR and QuickDraw 3D Web Browsing

QuickTime VR Viewing

To view the QuickTime VR panorama at the Artifice 3D Gallery on a Windows or Macintosh computer, you will need a recent version of Netscape Navigator 3.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, and QuickTime 3.0, including the QuickTime browser plug-in.

All of the necessary QuickTime VR software is included mas part of QuickTime 3.0 for both platforms. QuickTime 3.0 is available free at the Apple Computer web site, at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/.

QuickDraw 3D Viewing

To view the live QuickDraw 3D models on the Artifice 3D Gallery, you will need the Netscape Navigator 2.0 (or newer) web browser, QuickDraw 3D, and the Whurlplug browser plug-in. For details on free downloading and set up of QuickTime, Whurlplug, QuickDraw 3D, and Netscape to work together, see the installation instructions nearby.

At this time the Whurlplug plug-in is only available for Macintosh. Windows users can download the models and view them in any QuickDraw 3D viewing application. QuickDraw 3D for Windows, including a free QuickDraw 3D viewer, is included in QuickTime 3.0, available from Apple Computer at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/
