This complete free software package provides all you need to build and save your own 3D models for spatial design and visualization or for the World-Wide Web - up to 100 solid objects - 1000 or more polygons. And it will let you view, walkthrough and optimize ready-made models of any size, in DesignWorkshop, 3DMF, or DXF format. (Updated 2000.0307, Version 1.8.5, ~6.0MB sea/sit/hqx)Important Note for Mac OS 9 users: DesignWorkshop Lite 1.8.5, the current U.S. download version, is fully compatible with Mac OS 9. DesignWorkshop Lite 1.8.3, the current Metric and Japanese download version, is not Mac OS 9 compatible. These versions will also be updated here soon.
The extended rendering capabilities in DesignWorkshop Lite 1.8 require QuickDraw 3D 1.5.3 or later, included on new Apple computers, and also available free as part of QuickTime 3.0 or 4.0, downloadable free from Apple.
