This free downloadable package, compressed in "exe" self-extracting ZIP format, includes a complete installer for DesignWorkshop Lite for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP, with the DesignWorkshop Lite application, example building models, textures library, sample 3D objects library, preliminary help information, built-in DXF translation, and the QuickDraw 3D 1.5.3 DLLs for Windows.
If you are new to downloading software from the internet, please also refer to our detailed Step-by-Step Download Instructions for Windows users.To use DesignWorkshop Lite, first download the complete ZIP archive file and then decompress it by simply double-clicking on the self-extracting archive. Then, run the DesignWorkshop installer program "Setup.exe" to install DesignWorkshop and QuickDraw 3D on your system. When you first start up DesignWorkshop Lite, be sure to read the built in Help file for basic tips on using DesignWorkshop.
To use the DesignWorkshop Tutorials, first download the complete ZIP archive file and then decompress it using a utility like WinZip (see below). Then double-click on the tutorial file "DW_Tutorial.hlp" to view the complete set of tutorials. The tutorials can also be downloaded in Adobe PDF format for easy printing.

Free Download Alternative One
If you have difficulty downloading DesignWorkshop Lite in one ~7MB piece as linked above, then try either downloading the six parts linked below, one by one, or try downloading using an FTP link (alternative two).
All six parts need to be downloaded and decompressed with a utility like StuffIt Expander or WinZip into the same disk directory. Then the installer Setup.exe program should be run, as above.

Decompressing a ZIP Archive File
If your Windows web browser is not already set up to decompress ".zip" files, you can download the necessary decompression software free over the Internet. Here are two sources for decompression utilities for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000:
